Skopje, 24 August 2023 (MIA) – Civil society organizations' contributions are vital to a successful European integration so the state has started consultations with CSOs on drafting the strategic documents needed to open the first cluster, or the roadmaps for a timely response to EU's requests, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj wrote in a Facebook post.
The contribution from CSOs, he wrote, was extremely important because of their years of expertise and skills in key areas important for the roadmaps.
"The reforms we are implementing on our way to the EU require a stimulating environment for action and a complete inclusion of civil society in the process of creating public policies.
"CSOs are becoming strong partners in our European integration as key stakeholders in the process of democratization of the Macedonian society, and they are to remain involved until the country fulfills its strategic goal of EU membership," Marichikj said. ssh/mr
