Skopje, 28 September 2021 (MIA) – SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, accompanied by the candidate for mayor of the City of Skopje Petre Shilegov and the candidates for councilors of the City of Skopje, Sofija Pejkova and Chair municipality, Marija Kondovska held Tuesday afternoon an election rally in Chair settlement. “All candidates are willing and motivated to work for the best for Chair, and we as a central government will continue to support capital projects and investments that improve people’s quality of life,” Zaev told the event. “We will support opening new businesses in all municipalities. This will be of great importance for the Chair as well. The needs of the citizens in a certain region, municipality or settlement will be determined, and the municipality is planned to offer subsidies in order to open the locally deficient businesses. This will be a chance for young people and people with business ideas,” Zaev said, adding that this opens an opportunity to promote Chair municipality in the field of tourism. Together with the citizens, SDSM said in a press release, Chair is a bridge of coexistence, a municipality in which are located the oldest settlements in Skopje, which today are a bridge between memories of old Skopje and modern times and Chair deserves the best and it will have the best at the October 17 local elections.
