Skopje, 13 November 2025 (MIA) - Aleksandar Trajanovski will be nominated for the post of SDSM vice-president, said party leader Venko Filipche on Thursday.

Filipche told a press conference that Trajanovski's nomination will be put before the SDSM Executive Board at a session later today.

"We are careful with the process and I ask party members and followers for a bit of patience. I will nominate doctor Aleksandar Trajanovski, who is currently a member of the Executive Board, for the vice-president's post. He is a person who is committed to the party, had an excellent election campaign that attracted a lot of attention, and I believe his appointment will be a significant boost for the party," said Filipche.

Trajanovski, SDSM's candidate for Aerodrom mayor, is set to replace Ana Chupeska in the post after her resignation following the recent local elections.
