Ohrid, 20 April 2024 (MIA) — Jovan Mitreski, head of the SDSM and Coalition for European Future list of MP candidates from the Fifth Electoral District, together with fellow MP candidates met Saturday with members of the local business community, MIA's Ohrid correspondent reports.

In presenting the Coalition for European Future election Platform, Mitreski discussed support for companies and noted that even in the deepest energy crisis, SDSM carried out wise policies to protect citizens from price shocks or blackouts.

"During our next term, we guarantee to increase the total domestic energy production by at least 70 percent," he said, adding that renewable energy would go up at least 100 percent, supplying a million citizens.

Mitreski also said over EUR 2.7 billion would be invested in modernizing municipal infrastructure across the country to boost the economy and increase the standard of living. mr/
