Skopje, 31 December 2025 (MIA) – Around 250,000 students in primary and secondary schools begin their winter break on Wedesnday.

The second semester will start on January 20, 2026.

The 2025/2026 school year will continue with measures to optimize the school network and implement single-shift instruction, already applied in 200 schools.

At the end of the school year, in June, graduating students will take the state graduation exam under a new concept, in line with the type of education.

Teachers are set to receive a salary increase of 7.5 to 10 percent in March.
