Skopje, 9 April 2023 (MIA) - Roman Catholics celebrate the Ressurection of Christ-Easter on Sunday.

An Easter mass was held in Skopje-based church "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus", attended by President Stevo Pendarovski, Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska, and director of the Commission for relations with religious communities and groups, Darijan Sotirovski.

Bishop of Skopje and Strumica-Skopje Eparch, Kiro Stojanov, delivered the sermon.

Christians believe Easter is the day Jesus rose from the dead, after his crucifixion on Good Friday, to save the world from sin.
