Tel Aviv/Gaza, 26 November 2023 (dpa/MIA) - Thirteen more hostages held by Islamist Hamas in Gaza are to be released on the third day of the truce, Ynet Israeli news site reported on Sunday morning, citing Israeli officials.
Hamas presented Israel with a list of 13 hostages who are to be released on Sunday, the report said, with some US citizens among the group.
The report comes after a second group of 17 hostages was released the previous evening. In return, Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners from prisons.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said early on Sunday morning that it had received a list with the names of further hostages who are to be released on Sunday, though no number was given.
Ynet said this time family members will not be separated, as was the case with the second group.
After a first group of hostages was released on Friday, some 200 hostages are still being held by Hamas.
