Berlin, 21 August 2024 (dpa/MIA) — French football star Kylian Mbappé is demanding €55 million ($60.9 million) from his former club Paris Saint-Germain, the Le Monde newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The report said that the sum is related to outstanding monthly salaries for April, May and June, the last third of a bonus payment for Mbappé's last contract extension and an "ethical bonus."
Mbappé played at PSG for seven years but left the club some two months ago to join Real Madrid. He won the Ligue 1 six times and the French Cup four times, but failed to win the Champions League, one of PSG's biggest goals.
Le Monde said that he has already contacted the legal commission of the French league association LFP and the European football ruling body UEFA regarding the matter.
