Skopje, 14 March 2025 (MIA) - Relations between the Government and the administration of United States President Donald Trump and the administration in the U.S. Embassy are at an ultrahigh level, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Friday.

PM Mickoski was quizzed about the fact that Minister of Social Policy, Demography and Youth Fatmir Limani was denied a US visa.

"I would refrain from making conclusions about the visa, let's wait. What if he is granted one shortly, then what? We will not do anything that goes against the interest of citizens and the state," said Mickoski.

Yesterday, United States Ambassador Angela Aggeler said Washington has very strict laws about discussing visa issues.

"We have very strict privacy laws in the United States and I cannot discuss any visa issues on any individuals. I would refer you to the minister to discuss what occurred, but I will also simply say that with any applicant for a U.S. visa, the process is explained to the individual and if there is any additional follow-up, that is explained as well," said Aggeler.
