Skopje, 16 February 2023 (MIA) - Bloc 2 of miinng power complex (REK) Bitola is set to undergo minor repair and maintenance work over the next couple of weeks, aimed at increasing its stability.

Bloc 2 was in continued operating process over 75 days until its shutdown early on Thursday. Last year, the bloc produced 1,382,666 MWh of electricity, a record for the past eight years. The minor repair of the 39-year-old facility will ensure stability of production until the end of the heating season, said REK Bitola.

It adds that all other production capacities are in full operation, securing the electricity needs of households, small consumers and others.
