Rail workers walk out over incomplete July paychecks

Skopje, 25 August 2023 (MIA) — Rail services accross the country will be disrupted as of Friday 4:00 pm as National Railways workers begin their strike over pay.

Train passengers on the Skopje-Gevgelija route scheduled for 4:55 pm are the first ones set to be hit with the disruption, National Railways representative Toni Dimovski told MIA.

Passenger trains as well as freight trains will not be running until rail workers have been paid their July salaries in full, Dimovski said. mr/
