Sofia, 23 November 2021 (MIA) – I convey my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims in the accident on Struma highway and the victims of the fire that broke out at the retirement home in the Dulgopol village of Rojak, said Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, MIA’s Sofia correspondent reports. “We’re in this together with our brothers from the Republic of North Macedonia. Together we mourn the victims of the tragedy. Bulgaria is taking all necessary steps to determine the causes of these two major incidents,” said Bulgarian President Radev. He voiced hope for a speedy recovery of the injured in the accident. According to Radev, the identification of the victims involves many steps that need to be taken.
