Public trust in judiciary has to be restored, says Mickoski

Kichevo, 13 December 2024 (MIA) – Police searches conducted in the Judicial Council aim at confirming suspicions of minutes having been falsified so as to manipulate the will and opinion of Judicial Council members by individuals, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said adding he expects the matter to be resolved soon.

Answering reporters’ questions at a cornerstone-laying ceremony in Kichevo development zone, Mickoski pointed out there had been suspicions of major wrongdoings committed at the Judicial Council.

He reiterated that public trust in the judiciary is around two percent. “Justice is slow but it is gradually coming.”

“We have to restore public trust; justice must rule across Macedonia. We have to be a legal state if we want to move forward and prosper,” the PM urged.
