Public Prosecutor’s Office monitors election activities
Skopje, 30 October 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia’s Public Prosecutor’s Office continues to monitor activities related to the election process via a temporary commission, it said in a press release on Saturday. “Public prosecutors are committed to fighting crime related to the election and voting process, contributing to their suppression and prevention,” read the release. The Public Prosecutor’s Office will work with increased capacity on Election Day (Oct. 31). Moreover, the commission will monitor and report on voting in all municipalities that hold runoffs. “All prosecutor’s offices will continue to follow up on reports of election violations,” the press release read. The Public Prosecutor’s Office reiterated that citizens can report election irregularities via e-mail at izbori@jorm.mk.
