Public Administration Minister Minchev meets Swiss Ambassador Hulmann

Skopje, 4 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev held a meeting Wednesday with Swiss Ambassador Véronique Hulmann during which they discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation and promoting opportunities for cooperation in public administration.
“During the meeting, Minister Minchev and Ambassador Hulmann spoke about a series of topics including public administration reform, digital transformation, sustainable development and the exchange of best practices in public sector reform,” the Ministry of Public Administration said.
According to the Ministry, Minchev highlighted the importance of international cooperation in achieving the goals for the modernization of the country’s public administration, as well as securing efficient, transparent and accessible public services. He voiced gratitude for the continued assistance and expertise provided by Switzerland in the area.
Ambassador Hulmann reaffirmed Switzerland’s commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the work of the public administration, stressing the importance of sharing knowledge and experiences for the promotion of the effectiveness of the public sector. She also conveyed Switzerland’s continued interest in the promotion of joint projects that contribute to the improvement of conditions and strengthening of capacities in the public administration.
At the meeting, both parties voiced optimism regarding the enhancement of cooperation and its positive impact on public administration workers, the Ministry said.
