Skopje, 21 April 2023 (MIA) - The National Opera and Ballet will stage on Friday a Macedonian chamber orchestra Profundis concert of classical, folk, and rock music entitled 'Groove', alongside Dragan Suzuki Djordjevic as soloist on cello.

Their performance will feature 3D visual effects, “seen for the first time at a classical music concert in our country”, organizers say.

Conducted by Gjurgjica Dashikj, the chamber orchestra will perform pieces by William Walton, Dmitri Shostakovich, Jacques Offenbach, David Popper, and Pablo de Sarasate.

Profundis will also perform a piece commissioned especially for this concert – “Motus folklorikus” by Macedonian composer Darko Ilievski, a song by Jimi Hendrix, and the theme music for "Pulp Fiction."
