Sofia, 27 June 2022 (MIA) – The new Bulgarian Ambassador to the United States, Georgi Panayotov has presented his credentials to President Joe Biden and said there is still no reaction from Washington to the decision of the National Assembly to lift the veto to North Macedonia’s EU accession process, MIA reports from Sofia. Ambassador Panayotov told BNT there is no U.S. pressure for a decision. “There is definitely no pressure, but problem-free Bulgaria-North Macedonia relations are in the interest of the United States. Nevertheless, there has been no pressure,” said Panayotov.
