Warsaw, 15 March 2022 (dpa/MIA) — The prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia have arrived in Kyiv, according to Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
"Here, in war-torn Kyiv, history is being made," Morawiecki wrote on Twitter as he posted pictures of himself with his deputy Jaroslaw Kaczynski as well as Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and their Slovenian counterpart, Janez Jansa, at a table with a map of Ukraine.
"The EU supports Ukraine, which can count on the help of its friends – this is the message we brought to Kyiv today," he continued.
The four politicians travelled to Kyiv by train. They want to speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
