Skopje, 13 March 2023 (MIA) – Prespa Forum Dialogue 2023 (PFD2023) will be held on June 15 and 16 in Struga. This year’s forum, according to the organizers, has a special national and regional significance, because June 17 will mark five years since the signing of the Prespa Agreement between North Macedonia and Greece.
“PFD2023 will be held at a time marked by an unprecedented, unprovoked an inhumane military aggression waged by Russia against Ukraine, but also during North Macedonia’s Chairpersonship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), with which the country has assumed a profound sense of responsibility and determination to fully engage in safeguarding OSCE's principles and commitments and in promoting dialogue and cooperation,” the organizers said in a press release.
The Forum’s program will include, among other things, discussions on pressing regional and European political and security issues, the Euro-integration processes of the Western Balkan countries, the perspectives of strengthening regional cooperation and good neighborly relations, the fight against corruption, etc.
“PFD2023 will once again offer a platform for debate, bringing together domestic and international high representatives, diplomats, prominent individuals from the academic and business community, civil society and youth organizations' representatives, who will have an excellent opportunity to share their analyses, thoughts and ideas on a wide range of regional and international topics in-person,” the organizers said in the press release. ad/nn/
