Skopje, 3 November 2021 (MIA) – The Prespa Agreement is a reality we don’t like but we will face institutional problems that will involve the judiciary if we fail to respect this reality, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski on Wednesday. “We are functioning with this reality. This party has lawmakers in the Parliament who signed a statement including the new name. Zoran Zaev brought this reality and we have discussed it on many occasions. We don’t like this reality but if we fail to respect it in the administrative functioning of institutions, then we’ll face problems with other authorities, namely the judiciary. Are we working to change this reality when given a chance one day? Yes, we are. However, this is the reality, the painful and humiliating reality for all of us who feel Macedonia and only Macedonia as our homeland,” Mickoski told reporters when quizzed on VMRO-DPMNE’s observance of the Prespa Agreement if they came to power.
