Skopje, 4 April 2024 (MIA) - Presidential hopeful Biljana Vankovska officially launched her campaign on Thursday, unveiling the slogan "Restoring the nation's dignity". 

Vankovska gave an assurance of an honest and interesting battle, at the very least, she noted, a debate that will not be boring to anyone, at least not when she presents it.

"I stand by what I said that I will be one and only, unique in what I offer, in the way I present it, the arguments I will present and the vision for a different Macedonia... At the end of this campaign, I believe that no one will have a dilemma about what Biljana Vankovska stands for, together with Levica," said Vankovska. 

She called on voters not to be misled that April 24 is an appetizer and the main course is served on May 8, stressing that they have the opportunity to vote for individuals and not for parties, pointing out that out of seven candidates, six have gathered support and legitimacy from the citizens.

"I am convinced that it is the person that makes the office, especially when it comes to an office held by one person. That person can leave a mark, filling the office with a lively spirit, an office underestimated by many," Vankovska pointed out.

The campaign, Vankovska added, will be a modest one, according to the possibilities. It starts from Strumica, and will end with an event in Skopje.
