Skopje, 2 April 2024 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski, who is running for a second term, is set to present his election programme at a convention on Tuesday.

"We have been building a democratic and citizens' society over the past five years. We will continue to do this while united. Starting from tomorrow evening, I will present the programme for the next five years. We continue to build a society based on European values," Pendarovski said in a Facebook post late on Monday.

After receiving support for a new presidential term at the SDSM Congress, Pendarovski said the broad front of support is not only an honour but also an obligation for a dedicated, sincere and bold campaign resulting in victory.

Pendarovski's election HQ has said that besides city rallies, he will meet with citizens across the country, visiting at least 60 populated places.

The first round of the presidential elections will take place on April 24.
