President Stevo Pendarovski awarded with Order of the White Eagle, President Duda awarded “September 8” Order
Skopje, 24 October 2022 (MIA) – As part of his official visit to Poland, President Stevo Pendarovski was awarded on Monday in Warsaw with the highest Polish decoration – the Order of the White Eagle, as a symbol of the close diplomatic and political relations between the two countries and presidents, reaffirming Macedonian-Polish friendship and partnership.
President Stevo Pendarovski awarded Polish President Andrzej Duda with the “September 8” decoration, for exceptional contribution in fostering and developing diplomatic relations between Poland and North Macedonia, for his commitment in strengthening North Macedonia’s strategic goals of European Union and NATO membership, as well as deepening friendly relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
President Stevo Pendarovski is paying on Monday and Tuesday an official visit to Poland. Earlier on Monday, Polish President Duda welcomed President Pendarovski with the highest state and military honors in Warsaw, after which the two held a tête-à-tête meeting, and the Macedonian and Polish delegations held a plenary meeting.
Later on Monday, Pendarovski will also hold a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and together with President Duda he will attend and address a round table with representatives of Polish chambers and businesses, as well as Macedonian representatives from the business sector.
