President Siljanovska-Davkova meets Croatian Ambassador Tiganj 

Skopje, 30 May 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Thursday with the Croatian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Nives Tiganj.

According to Siljanovska-Davkova's Office, at the meeting the President and the Ambassador spoke about the excellent bilateral relations characterized by intensive political dialogue and constructive cooperation in all fields of mutual interest. “In that direction, the President noted that the two friendly countries share common strategic goals and interests over lasting peace, stability and prosperity of the region and beyond,” the President’s Office said in a press release.  

President Siljanovska-Davkova also extended a message of congratulations to Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković over the creation of the new government of the Republic of Croatia.

“The President emphasized the importance of firm and continued Croatian support for the Macedonian euro-integration process, as the best course for the development of the region and European stability. She also stressed the commitment of the two countries, as NATO allies, to promote and share common values and responsibilities towards NATO and the contribution to international peace operations,” the press release said.
