Skopje, 16 June 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova is set to address Sunday the Ukraine Peace Summit, held at the Burgenstock resort in Switzerland.

On Saturday, President Siljanovska Davkova met with Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda at the summit sidelines.

The gathering aims to serve as a forum for high-level dialogue on the ways to achieve comprehensive, just and permanent peace for Ukraine in line with international law and the UN Charter, to promote common understanding on the possible framework in reaching this goal, and define a roadmap on how to involve both parties in a future peace process.

The conference, held at Ukraine's initiative, brings together high-level representatives from about 100 countries and international organizations, with discussions focusing on various issues, including wheat export from Ukraine, security of Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, which is under Russian control, and humanitarian issues such as exchange of prisoners of war.
