Skopje, 23 July 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Tuesday with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso, discussing cooperation with the bank, which has been the leading institutional investor in the country with EUR 2.9 billion in 190 projects thus far.

Siljanovska Davkova thanked Renaud-Basso for the realization of numerous investment projects that have significantly contributed to the country's economic infrastructure and sustainable development, the President's Office said in a press release.

The President also highlighted the importance of EBRD's investment activities related to competitiveness support, enhancement of regional integration and support to EU accession, as well as transition to a green economy through increased sustainability in the use of resources.
