President Siljanovska Davkova meets BiH Ambassador Jaćimović

Skopje, 20 June 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Thursday with Bosnia and Herzegovina Ambassador Dragan Jaćimović, discussing bilateral relations, possibilities for cooperation in various fields of mutual interest and enhancement of regional cooperation in tackling challenges related to regional security and European integration.
Siljanovska Davkova expressed satisfaction from the excellent friendly relations and cooperation through mutual understanding, support and respect. She highlighted the interest for enhancement of economic cooperation through the use of opportunities and potentials for rising trade exchange and enhancement of political dialogue, the President's Office said in a press release.
The President also welcomed the European Council's decision to open accession talks with Bosnia and Herzegovina and noted Macedonian support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with the Dayton Accord, as well as the country's Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
On regional cooperation, Siljanovska Davkova said everyone should work on its enhancement, for the purpose of coping with the existing challenges and the area's European integration, reads the press release.
