Skopje, 20 June 2024 (MIA) - President Gorgana Siljanovska Davkova met Thursday with representatives from the organizing committee of the 2024 Pride Parade, who briefed her on their current activities and future plans aimed at raising public awareness about respecting diversity, in the context of exercising basic human rights.

The meeting highlighted the necessity for creating an inclusive society, protecting marginalized communities, as well as the challenges they face, and interlocutors also stressed the need for effective application of laws in terms of protection against discrimination, the President's Office said in a press release. ssh/nn/
