President Siljanovska Davkova in phone call with Croatian counterpart Milanovic

Skopje, 10 June 2024 (MIA) - Bilateral relations are friendly and with no open issues, including continued political dialogue and constructive cooperation, agreed President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and Croatian counterpart Zoran Milanovic in a phone call on Monday.

Siljanovska Davkova and Milanovic reaffirmed the countries' commitment for enhancement of the traditional partnership and strengthening of regional cooperation, the President's Office said in a press release.

Interlocutors expressed readiness for continuation of the cooperation within NATO, and Siljanovska Davkova thanked Croatia for its principled support to the Macedonian Euro-integration process.

Siljanovska Davkova and Milanovic also exchanged opinions on regional and multilateral cooperation, European prospects of the country and regional developments.

Discussions also tackled the position of the Macedonian community in Croatia and the Croatian community in Macedonia, noting that minority rights in the two countries are at a high level and there is readiness on both sides to enhance them further, reads the press release.
