Skopje, 14 July 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova has condemned the assassination attempt on former U.S. president Donald Trump, saying there is no place for political violence in democratic countries.

"Deeply concerned due to the attack on former president Donald Trump. I strongly condemn the shooting incident. There is no place for political violence in democratic countries. I wish Mr. Trump a speedy recovery," says President Siljanovska Davkova in the note.

She extends condolences to the family of the person killed in the shooting and the American people.
