Skopje, 2 November 2021 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski at the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow on Tuesday met briefly with US President Joe Biden, Slovak President Zuzana Caputova, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, British Minister for Europe and Americas Wendy Morton, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and former British premier Theresa May. The President on Tuesday also attended an event launching the Global Methane Pledge initiated by US President Joe Biden and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and took part in the leader-level COP26 event titled “Action and Solidarity: The Critical Decade.”
