Skopje, 12 June 2023 (MIA) — President Stevo Pendarovski met Monday with Zoran Kjoseski, Honorary Consul of the Republic of North Macedonia in Australia, and discussed bilateral relations.

According to an official press release, President Pendarovski and Consul Kjosevski agreed that ties between North Macedonia and Australia were excellent and developing through the cooperation between institutions and the Macedonian community, which has been present in Australia for decades, the release notes.

Kjoseski briefed Pendarovski on his activities as an honorary consul and a long-time activist for the Macedonian community's greater visibility in Australia.

They also talked about fresh opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

Pendarovski reaffirmed the readiness of North Macedonia to strengthen the political dialogue with Australia as well as intensify cooperation as part of multilateral organizations, especially economic cooperation and trade. mr/
