Skopje, 12 February 2024 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met on Monday with the US Ambassador Angela P. Aggeler and discussed political developments in the country following the formation of caretaker government ahead of the upcoming elections as well as overall progress of bilateral relations between the two countries.

President Pendarovski underscored North Macedonia's steadfast commitment to nurturing friendly relations and fostering bilateral cooperation with the United States, highlighting that the ongoing Strategic Dialogue provides an opportunity to specify cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, Pendarovski’s Office said in a press release.

“President Pendarovski underscored the US support in advancing and intensifying reform efforts, which are crucial for the country’s path towards fulfilling its European aspirations,” reads the press release.
