Skopje, 14 June 2023 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski met Wednesday with Angelina Eichhorst, Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia at the European External Action Service (EEAS). 

Pendarovski and Eichhorst exchanged views on the current political situation in North Macedonia and the region, on the course of the EU accession negotiations and the reform processes, as well as the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries, the President's Office said in a press release.

"President Pendarovski stressed that North Macedonia remains committed to implementing the necessary reforms. Interlocutors underlined the importance of further promoting regional cooperation to ensure peace, security and prosperity of the entire region, as well as the need to include the region in all initiatives led by the European Union," reads the press release. ssh/nn/
