Skopje, 5 November 2021 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met Friday with visiting Albanian Defense Minister Niko Peleshi, discussing the excellent bilateral cooperation and its strengthening through open and constructive dialogue on issues of mutual interest. President Pendarovski and Minister Peleshi agreed that alignment of positions between the two countries is good in the context of NATO cooperation, saying this should continue in the future. Interlocutors also tackled current developments related to North Macedonia and Albania’s European integration, exchanging opinions and information over expectations in light of the EU meetings by the end of the year. In addition, they referred to cooperation within regional initiatives aimed at promoting and enhancing regional stability and security, the President’s Office said in a press release.
