Skopje, 27 December 2023 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski spoke on Wednesday, via video link, with members of the Army deployed in the international peacekeeping missions and operations led by the UN, NATO, and the EU.

Pendarovski greeted our peacekeepers engaged in the KFOR operation in Kosovo, in the NATO mission for enhanced forward presence in Latvia, in NATO enhanced vigilance activities in Romania and Bulgaria, in the EU-led mission, Althea operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the UN-led UNIFIL mission in Lebanon, his Office said.

President Pendarovski thanked them for their commitment, highlighting the professionalism and dedication with which members of our army actively contribute to global peace and security, representing a vital role in collective defence.

In a video conversation, President Pendarovski extended New Year’s greetings to our peacekeepers, wishing them good health and success, urging them to uphold their dedication and professionalism in executing their tasks, defending the shared values of peace and freedom in the countries where they are deployed.
