President Pendarovski congratulates International Day of Bosniaks
Skopje, 28 September 2021 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski extended on Tuesday a greeting to the Bosniak community in North Macedonia on the occasion of 28 September – International Day of Bosniaks. “For a decade and a half we’ve been proudly celebrating this important day, a symbol of the rich history, culture, customs and folklore of the Bosniak people. Due to their uniqueness and worldview, Bosniaks have a special place in our society, as well as in the entire Balkan region, enriching the priceless mosaic of different cultures and traditions,” Pendarovski noted. He underlined that thanks to the contribution of all its ethnic communities, North Macedonia is an example of functional multiethnic society. “Let our coexistence and mutual respect be the foundation for building a more stable, prosperous and economically developed country. Let’s overcome all health, economic and political threats united, surmount all obstacles and resist all temptations, striving towards a better and brighter future. Let me once again congratulate you on 28 September – International Day of Bosniaks and wish you health, happiness and good fortune,” President Pendarovski said.
