Skopje, 29 September 2021 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski attended on Wednesday the final session of the first online assistants training for people with disabilities and was briefed on the importance and the results achieved by the platform. Training participants shared with the President what they had learned and what their employment opportunities are. The event, organized by Macedonian company Brand Solution Dooel, was held at EU’s office in Skopje and was attended by the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to North Macedonia Julian Vassallo and Fund for Innovation and Technological Development (FITD) representative Iskra Lazarova. Brand Solution Dooel created the Best Online Assistant platform for purchase and sale of digital services, which brings together businesses and service providers with physical disabilities. Ten people with physical disabilities finished the 16-week training to be the first digital service providers. The platform ensures direct promotion of the talents and abilities of people with physical disabilities to companies and further raises social awareness over their inclusion. Brand Solution Dooel became in 2021 the only education center for marginalized groups and vulnerable categories that teaches digital skills and sales and is authorized to issue certificates verified by the Adult Education Centre.
