Power bills higher by 8.2% in second semester of 2023

Skopje, 29 March 2024 (MIA) — The country's average power bill in the second semester of 2023 rose by 8.2% compared to the first semester, according to the latest figures released by the State Statistical Office.
The average electricity price for households in the Republic of North Macedonia was 7.289 denars/KWh in the second semester of 2023, the press release says.
"The average electricity price without value added tax for non-household consumers is between 6.756 and 12.393 denars/KWh by consumer bands.
"The average price of natural gas without value added tax for non-household consumers is between 36.858 and 48.300 denars/nm3 by consumer bands.
"The average retail price of natural gas for households is 51.257 denars/nm3," it adds. mr/
