Skopje, 21 November 2022 (MIA) – The Ministry of Interior said Monday it has detained a 26-year-old Skopje citizen under the suspicion of migrant smuggling. After failing to stop at police signals on the Skopje-Gevgelija motorway, the driver was caught by the officers, who found eight migrants – six from Syria and two from Pakistan – in his vehicle. The driver will be charged accordingly, in coordination with a public prosecutor.
