Skopje, 16 January 2024 (MIA) - Police detained late Monday a 30-year-old Gradoshorci villager under the suspicion of migrant smuggling.

Police officers tried to stop two vehicles with Bitola and Shtip register plates at regional road R-1401. After they disobeyed the signals, the police started to chase them and caught up with one, driven by the suspect. Seven migrants from Syria were found in the vehicle, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.
