Skopje, 24 July 2023 (MIA) - Police officers detained on Sunday a 26-year-old Macedonia national from Skopje near the village of Chetirce in the Kumanovo region, under the suspicion of migrant smuggling.

The police found six migrants from Syria, including a minor,  upon inspecting the passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release. 

The migrants have been transferred to the reception-transit center Tabanovce, whereas the driver will be charged accordingly. ssh/nn/
