Skopje, 12 December 2024 (MIA) - Police officers detained a 29-year-old Turkish national at the Bogorodica-Stojakovo road section early on Thursday under the suspicion of migrant smuggling.

The suspect was driving a vehicle with Skopje register plates, in which the police found eight migrants (Syria-3, Afghanistan-3 and Iraq-2), who have been transferred to the Gevgelija reception-transit center.

Investigation in the case is underway.
