PM Zaev, Swiss Ambassador Suter Tejada reaffirm excellent relations, commitment to future projects
Skopje, 15 September 2021 (MIA) – Prime Minister Zoran Zaev received Wednesday Swiss Ambassador Sybille Suter Tejada for a farewell meeting, highlighting her commitment, sincere friendship and support to projects aimed at improving people’s lives.
PM Zaev and Ambassador Suter Tejada stressed the importance of the cooperation programme 2021-2024 that where priorities overlap – job creation, sustainable growth and digitization, the Government said in a press release.
Zaev also thanked Suter Tejada for her personal engagement and presented her with a certificate of appreciation for the outstanding contribution in the fostering of excellent bilateral relations and continued realization of numerous joint projects, with a focus on the fight against corruption, social protection, gender equality, improvement of the economic status of workers, increased employability and fight against informal economy, as well as reforms in environment protection, administrative operations and democratic development.
Ambassador Suter Tejada voiced support to North Macedonia’s EU accession and highlighted the importance of regional cooperation from the aspect of the region’s Union perspective.
