PM Zaev meets MP Rexhepi to discuss country’s European course
Skopje, 18 November 2021 (MIA) – Prime Minister Zoran Zaev met Thursday with MP Kastriot Rexhepi in the government to reaffirm their joint commitment to strengthening the country’s reform-oriented and European course, which is also the commitment of the majority of citizens in the country, the government said. Over the past few years, Zaev and Rexhepi concluded, the country and the people have made strides in securing safe and secure future and the people’s will for peaceful coexistence in North Macedonia will be reflected in a stable and democratic majority in Parliament. “The two interlocutors concurred that relations between Macedonians, Albanians and all other ethnic communities in North Macedonia are cordial and close and that all political stakeholders have the obligation to advance these relations,” said the press release. They also voiced their expectations that the EU will finally fulfill its promise to hold the first intergovernmental conference with North Macedonia, which marks the official start of negotiations for accession.
