PM Zaev congratulates Radev on winning presidential elections in Bulgaria
Skopje, 22 November 2021 (MIA) – Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on Sunday night had a phone call with Bulgaria’s incumbent president Rumen Radev, who was re-elected in Sunday’s elections. Writing on Facebook, Zaev said he congratulated Radev on winning the presidential elections. “We agreed that Bulgaria and North Macedonia through dialogue and mutual understanding should continue to seek solutions in the name of a common European future,” said Zaev. According to preliminary results, Radev won 66.7% of votes defeating his rival, the independent candidate Anastas Gerdzhikov, who won 31.8% of votes.
