Skopje, 14 September 2021 (MIA) – A government delegation, led by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, which also includes Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, has arrived Tuesday in Tirana for a working visit at an invitation by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Later in the day, PM Zaev will hold a separate meeting with Chancellor Merkel for talks on bilateral trade, political circumstances involving further enlargement of the EU and the Open Balkan initiative, aimed at accelerating the region’s integration into the EU, the government said. Merkel as part of her visit to the Western Balkans is hosting a working lunch with regional leaders, focused on regional cooperation.
