Skopje, 31 March 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi extended greetings, on behalf of the Government and on his personal behalf, to Bishop of Skopje and Eparch of Strumica and Skopje, Dr. Kiro Stojanov, and to all those celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday.

"Easter celebrates the victory of life over death. Like all major holidays, Easter is a source of spiritual strength for people to overcome the challenges that life brings with patience and wisdom. It is also a motive for the belief that personal good and well-being are possible only as part of the common good and well-being. I am convinced that Easter encourages you in your noble mission of guiding the members of the Catholic faith in every step of their way along the path of mutual respect and understanding, on which I am confident that we will continue together in the future," Xhaferi said in his Easter greeting. 

He highlights the importance of peace, prosperity and solidarity among citizens.
