PM: This gov't won't deal with 'dark scenarios', we want progress

Skopje, 21 August 2024 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said commenting remarks by former politicians is not serious. You should ask the institutions for something like this, he said when asked for a comment on the allegations by ex-economy minister Kreshnik Bekteshi that the government has ordered that DUI should be wiretapped.

With the formation of the new government, Mickoski said, the time of unrest in Macedonia ended.

“This government, led by VMRO-DPMNE, has pledged to restore hope and to reform. We have no intention of dealing with such dark scenarios,” the PM told members of the media after a ground-breaking ceremony for a new farmers’ market in Negotino.

We want to look ahead and we want progress, he stressed.

“We are interested in new farmers’ markets, new boulevards, new roads, new investments, higher pensions. This is the focus of this government. I wouldn’t comment remarks by political nobodies,” Mickoski said.
