PM Mickoski to attend EU – Western Balkans summit in Brussels 

Skopje, 18 December 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will begin a two-day working visit to Brussels on Wednesday, where he will attend the EU – Western Balkans summit alongside Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, and the Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, the Government said in a press release.

The summit will discuss further integration of the region through the Growth Plan, as well as foreign, security and migration issues. It will be the first summit to be chaired by the new President of the European Council, António Costa.

In Brussels, the Prime Minister is expected to meet with the Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, and the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk.

Prime Minister Mickoski will also participate in the European People’s Party – EPP summit in Brussels, said the Government.
